Floyd Mayweather Explains Why He And Dana White Dress Alike

Anyone who has been watching the McGregor-Mayweather press conferences will have noticed a stark difference in the way that both men have been dressed…

The Notorious has been suited and booted in his usual style while Mayweather has been looking like he’s in the middle of doing the laundry and all his decent clothes are in the wash.

Well, now Floyd has given a reason for his comparatively scruffy appearance.

Speaking in front of a huge crowd in Toronto, Canada, on day two of their MayMac tour, Mayweather spoke directly to UFC president Dana White. First, he explained why he respected the UFC boss:

“Dana, I can never disrespect you,” Floyd said. “I’ve known you for 21 years, you’ve done a hell of a job with this company [the UFC] and I wanna continue to watch you grow, I wanna watch you continue to build the UFC cos it’s all about combat sports. You’ve done a hell of a job.”

Mayweather then apologised for some of the derogatory things that he’d said about White in the past:

“No matter what I said about you in the past, as a man, I look in your face and apologise and tell you I’m sorry.”

Later on the press conference, he addressed White again:

“You da boss! Dana White, you fly!” a pumped Mayweather shouted at White, who sat there with a big, sh*t eating grin on his face.

Floyd then compared himself to the UFC president: “Dana White! Me and you got money!”

Money clearly does not equal taste in clothes

But Mayweather wasn’t done: on a roll now, he yelled out “We know who got the money, we don’t gotta wear suits! The real men that got money don’t gotta wear suits!”

McGregor’s ‘FU*K YOU’ suit

Only two days into it, the MayMac show has been a lively affair: flags have been stolen, mics have been cut, and McGregor has made fun of Floyd’s alleged illiteracy and money trouble, to name a few of the highlights thus far. No matter what goes down on August 26, this is already as entertaining as hell!

The biggest show in town…
