WATCH: Yoel Romero Delivers Terrifying Yet Inspirational Speech Ahead of UFC 248

Yoel Romero is ready to go to war with Israel Adesanya in their upcoming middleweight title showdown this weekend.

The ripped Cuban fighter, who is regarded as one of the most-feared middleweights in the UFC, will headline the UFC 248 fight card in Las Vegas opposite the reigning champion in what could be his last shot at a world title.

Coming off back-to-back losses, Romero is out to prove he deserves the title shot as he will march to the battle physically and mentally prepared to shock the world.

Ahead of the titanic clash, ‘The Soldier of God’ spoke to ESPN and produced one of the most terrifying yet inspirational interviews in the sport.

Watch the scene below:

Optimistic

Pegged as the underdog, Romero believes pulling off an upset on Saturday is very possible.

”Muhammad (Ali) had the best defense in the heavyweight (division). The best moves, in the heavyweight (division). But… shorter man, dirty boxing… He beat him one time.” he stated.

“Everything is possible in your life when you believe! When you believe, everything is possible.”

“You have two hands like me. Everything is possible. Go. Go and take it. Whatever you want to do.”

With his size and power, the middleweight hulk is expected to utilize his elite wrestling and dirty boxing to counter Adesanya’s stand up game.

Adesanya, who remains undefeated in seven UFC bouts, most recently knocked out Robert Whittaker in their 2019 unification bout and looks to add Romero to his list of victims as he aims to build his legacy as the greatest 185-pounder of all-time.

Going For The Finish

But Romero will not go down without a fight and has vowed to deal Adesanya the first loss of his career via knockout.

“Of course I’ve got to finish. I don’t want to go too crazy hard, but I need to finish the fight,” he told the media in the pre-UFC 248 press conference.

“Me and my team have the plan to knock him out.”

“When he makes the little one mistake, boom.”

Can Yoel Romero shock the world at UFC 248? Who do you think will win this intriguing middleweight title fight?
