WWE legend Mark Henry has called out Conor McGregor over his trash talk and says he’d ‘tear his skin off’ if the two ever came to blows.
McGregor announced his return to the UFC on Saturday with a spectacular knockout victory over Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.
Notorious took just 40 seconds to down the American and gain his first win in what he hopes will be a rapid rise back to the top of the UFC roster.
The Dubliner has announced a three fight plan for 2020 as he looks to re-establish himself as the best in the UFC.
Not Convinced
But Henry isn’t convinced that the former UFC champion would cut it against the WWE’s finest, and claims he knows at least 50 superstars who’d ‘hand him his a**’.
Speaking about McGregor’s past derogatory comments about the WWE, Henry (via Metro) said: “He said things that was completely out of line, especially as it relates to him coming into the locker room and slapping everybody.”
“There’s 50 guys in that WWE locker room that will hand him his a**.”
“Just so y’all know.”
“So don’t think for one second that a 140 pound dude is going to go in there and survive against Braun Strowman.”
“I would say that Chad Gable would rake him over the coals.”
“Chad Gable will have him screaming for his mommy.”
Strong Threat
The ‘World’s Strongest Man’ also made it clear what he’d do if McGregor tried any funny business while he was present.
“I’m gonna tell you what, at that time, I was actually in the locker room,” he said.
“I welcome any 140 pounds or less guy on the planet to come and slap my face.”
“I will tear your skin off and I will hang your skin in my closet.”
‘Juiced Up’
McGregor first laid into the WWE when he scoffed at the idea of appearing in the franichise.
Notorious said: “For the most part, those WWE guys are p*****s, to be honest,”
“They’re messed up p*****s, if you ask me.”
“Fair play to Brock Lesnar, he got in and fought, but at the end of the day he was juiced up to the f****** eye balls, so how can I respect that?”
McGregor then tweeted: “I didn’t mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday’s.”
McGregor seems to have taken on a more humble approach of late, and appears more focused on fighting than riling everyone up,
But it seems the World’s Strongest Man hasn’t forgotten his earlier antics.
McGregor only made his welterweight (170lb) debut at UFC 246, but it would be very interesting to see him toe-to-toe with 48-year-old Henry, who weighs in at over 400lbs.
