Conor McGregor Predicts What Would Happen If He Fought Ronda Rousey

Conor McGregor comes across as the most confident fighter in the world but the man who “fears no man”, may have one fear; a certain Miss Ronda Rousey.

The Notorious admitted that he would not like to be locked in the Octagon with former bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, telling Sports Illustrated that he’d expect Rousey to give him some problems if the pair somehow ever squared off.

“I certainly would not like to end up in a tie-up with Miss Rousey!” McGregor stated.

“I remember one time when I’d seen her and I greeted her and I said ‘what’s up champ?’ and we embraced. I swear on my life her back muscles were the most solidest (sic) back muscles I’d ever felt in my life.”

Although I’m sure he would be confident in his ability to out strike the Californian native, The Notorious predicted that he wouldn’t stand a chance against her if the pair got into a clinch battle.

“I thought if this lady was to get a hold of me she would throw me on my head in literally one second flat. So I would not like to engage in a clinch fight with Ronda.”

But in the end McGregor could not contain himself, throwing in a little self-promotion in true Conor McGregor style.

“But, make no mistake about it, I have my ways to win that fight, too!”. I’ll leave it to you guys to decide if he was being dirty, there…

Rousey makes her much-anticipated return to the Octagon when she takes on Amanda Nunes for the bantamweight belt on December 30 in Paradise, Nevada.

In order to win the belt back, she will be hoping to dominate Nunes in the clinch battle in the same way that McGregor thinks she would dominate him.
