Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh was in the thick of action after staging a show with Last Leg comedian Adam Hills at a comedy festival in Ireland. The audience at the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival had no idea that the attack between the MMA coach and Hills was pre-planned, believing it to be the real deal.
The staged skit started when Hills posed a question to Kavanagh with it ending with the Straight Blast Gym pioneer landing blows with the prosthetic foot.
Hills threw a question into the crowd, starting the skit by asking: “What do you do for a living?”, with Kavanagh replying: “I’m actually Conor’s coach. The Australian funny man then ramped up the exchange demanding him to prove to the world that he is indeed McGregor’s coach.
Here’s the footage of last night’s onstage “assault”. I’ll let you judge how serious it was. RT @Eoghain91: @adamhillscomedy disabled comic gets beaten up with own prosthetic on stage by @John_Kavanagh at @CatLaughsComedy pic.twitter.com/CjGjMsG7tW

Kavanagh, who is not one to back down marched up to the stage and thumped Hills in the gut, to a giant cheer from the crowd. Hills who was born without a right foot immediately goes down to the floor before the UFC coach appears to hit him twice with his prosthetic leg.
This got a huge cheer from the crowd, with Hills later revealing, “Genuinely sore from a John Kavanagh punch on stage tonight. I may have been out of line but there was no need for his reaction.”
Kavanagh immediately responded, saying: “Times we live in no doubt videos going up. What you won’t see is the lead up and him in my face for half an hour. Probably shouldn’t have done it but most don’t experience this type of aggression on a daily experience. Mess with the bull, get the horns.”
