Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor got up close and personal at their first stare down but up until now, we didn’t have a bloody clue what pair had actually said to each other.

McGregor is well known for his pre-fight antics and is one of the best in the world at getting into his opponent’s heads and throwing them off their gameplans.

He has done so time and time again in his short but incredible career. The best examples in the last few years have been against Jose Aldo and Eddie Alvarez who were both champions of their respective divisions before McGregor came along and took their featherweight and lightweight belts from them.

But now he’s switching codes and taking on not only the greatest boxers of his generation but a known sh*t talker, himself, in Floyd Mayweather.

During their first stare down, among other things, Mayweather told the UFC lightweight champ that he would be “easy work,” whilst The Notorious told Money that in a proper fight he would kill him in no time at all.

The men were kept apart by Floyd Mayweather Sr and UFC president Dana White (aka Dana Pink) but they still got very close. At one point, Mayweather assured White that he wouldn’t start anything and White replied: “Alright, alright, I get, I get nervous!”

They both love a good sh*t talk

The MayMac tour got off to a fiery start on Tuesday after McGregor managed to get a hold of a microphone and respond to Mayweather while he was speaking but his mic was quickly cut off.

The Irishman later said that he thought it had been intentionally cut by the Showtime top brass because they didn’t want him to chuck in his two cents worth when Mayweather was speaking.

McGregor didn’t mind letting a Showtime boss have it in Toronto

If these first couple of days are anything to go by, we’re in for one hell of a show before August 26 even rolls around!

McGregor kinda looks like he’s taking a dump on his throne
