WATCH: UFC Middleweight Paulo Costa Brutally Knocks Out Logan Paul

Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight star Paulo Costa sent Logan Paul into the shadow realm when they tussled in a sparring at the UFC Performance Institute.

The YouTube star tapped the service of the Brazilian middleweight as he kicked off his transition to mixed martial arts.

Aside from his background in wrestling, Paul has also appeared in a professional boxing bout against fellow YouTube sensation, KSI, with the American losing by way of split decision.

Since that defeat, the Westlake, Ohio native has been vocal about his desire to start a career in MMA.

Costa, who is currently the number one contender at 185 pounds, has returned to training, following a biceps injury that made him ineligible to fight Israel Adesanya.

It looks like he is slowly getting back in shape as he made short work of Paul in a recent sparring.

Watch the finish below:

Before the sparring, the YouTube star said: “This morning we came here to the UFC performance institute.”

“Apparently they want me to spar a guy by the name of Paulo Costa. ‘He’s not a human, he’s a bear – he’s a 13 and 0 undefeated UFC fighter.”

“I don’t think he liked the way I looked at him at dinner last night or something – but it’s a good thing I’m a professional boxer now who’s 0 and 1, goddammit.”

“They put the headgear on me, not him. That’s how you know I’m f***ed.”

Meanwhile, the 28-year old Brazilian has been undefeated in the UFC since his promotional debut in March 2017.

He was in attendance at UFC 248 this past weekend as he is likely to earn the next title shot at the middleweight championship.

“I was ashamed to watch that fight. Adesanya is nothing,” he said (via MMA Fighting).

“Adesanya is the most shameful champion I have seen ever. He just run. He’s nothing. He’s nothing. He’s scared. I think he doesn’t deserve to talk about him. But it was s*it, that fight was s*it.

“I will make him cry. I will hit him very badly. And he will cry like a baby. I will slap his face in my fight against him because—That’s it, he’s shameful.”
