Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager did not hold back when it was his turn to give his take on Conor McGregor’s lengthy UFC 229 post-fight analysis.
Ali Abdelaziz blasted ‘The Notorious’ in his Instagram post on Tuesday, telling him to ‘shut the fu*k up and move on.’
It has been three weeks since the Dubliner absorbed a humiliating loss to Nurmagomedov so the MMA world was stunned on Monday when he made an unexpected round-by-round breakdown of his fight against the Russian champ.
McGregor admitted that he ‘was beaten fair and square’ after a crucial error in the deciding frame cost him the fight. But he assured his fans that he will be back with confidence high and fully prepared.
“Although winning the early exchanges in 4, he dips under again and I end up in a bad position with over 3 on the clock. I work to regain position and end up upright, with my back to the fence. A stable position. Here, however, I made a critical error of abandoning my over hook at this crucial time, exposing the back, and I end up beaten fair and square.”
Khabib’s manager, Abdelaziz, wasted no time to clap back on The Irish star’s recent statement. In his Instagram post on Tuesday, he called Conor a ‘weak soul’ and a ‘tap machine’ and came up with his own round-by-round analysis of the fight.
“God put mercy in Khabibs heart and decided to show the world you’re a tap machine and put on a neck crank that wasn’t even a choke. The proper technique is 2 on 1 try to peel the arm and defend the neck crank. You put your two hands on the ground and your hand only came up when you were ready to tap.”
“Go open a liquor store and focus on selling alcohol especially after all the sh*t you talked. Just STFU and move on.”
