MMA Fans Fear Khabib Vs Ferguson Might Get Cancelled For The Fifth Time

Mixed martial arts fans have expressed their concern over the possibility of the UFC 249 pay-per-view event getting cancelled amid the coronavirus scare.

The World Health Organization has recently declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic and has urged the 114 countries affected “to take urgent and aggressive action.”

As a result, the sports world suffers a major fallout, with the National Basketball Association suspending its current season indefinitely after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus.

The suspension of the NBA’s current season has sparked speculations that the Ultimate Fighting Championship might also cancel its upcoming events including the highly-awaited UFC 249.

The said fight card, which will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson,  will be held on April 18, 2020 in New York, the state with the second most number of cases in the United States.

Fans are now worried they may not be able to see the Khabib vs Ferguson fight finally happening.
