Jorge Masvidal Reacts To Conor McGregor Requesting For Three-Piece And A Soda

Talks about a potential fight between Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor have been reignited after the welterweight star took care of business in New York last weekend.

The 34-year old fighter cruised to a doctor stoppage win against Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 244 last Saturday in front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd.

Along with a $50 000-cash prize, Masvidal captured the first and final ‘baddest motherf***er’ title to inch closer to a shot at the welterweight championship.

Plenty of big UFC stars have been named as Masvidal’s potential opponent for his next outing.

There’s Kamaru Usman, who is the current king of 170 pounds and will defend his throne against Masvidal’s former friend, Colby Covington.

According to speculations, there are strong chances that Masvidal will fight the winner of the Usman vs Covington title bout.

UFC president Dana White has dismissed a potential rematch with Diaz, but there is another name who wants to experience Masvidal’s three-piece and a soda – Conor McGregor.

No Mercy

Shortly after Masvidal’s UFC 244 victory, the former two-division champion has taken to social media to let the MMA world know that he wants to fight the welterweight star.

“Hey @BurgerKing, could I get a 3 piece with soda and a side chicken box please? Loads of salt and vinegar. Thanks,” McGregor wrote on Twitter.

‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought since his submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov and is now eyeing to make a comeback early next year.

In the post-fight media scrum, Masvidal gave a scathing response to McGregor’s callout.

“(He’s going to) come back to what? Like fighting in the cage? I don’t know man,” he said, per MMA Junkie.

“That dude has been talking wild for a second.”

“If he fights and gets a victory and he wants this – and some of you mother(expletives) are mean because you know what the (expletive) I’ll do to that little dude, bro.”

“I’ll (expletive) that little guy up man. He’s a (expletive) midget.”

Too Much To Handle

It was not the first time Masvidal was linked to a potential fight with McGregor.

After the historic five-second knockout at UFC 239, Masvidal campaigned for a clash with the Irishman as he wanted a heftier paycheck for his next bout.

However, White said the American Top Team standout would be too big for McGregor.

“Dana White, the president of this mother(expletive) company, said I’m too much man for him,” Masvidal continued.

“I get it why people want to see him hurt for the stunts he’s been pulling, but he doesn’t want this (expletive). He’s just talking so he can get his name out there.”

“He was cheering for Nate. He wanted to run it back with Nate. You think he’s at home seeing that fight thinking, ‘I want to fight that dude.’ That dude ain’t retarded.

“You see he punches old people in the face because those are fights he could win. He don’t want this (expletive). I don’t think Dana is going to promote that fight because you can’t get that guy to sign the paper.”
