Jorge Masvidal Calls Out Nate Diaz For ‘BMF’ Title Rematch

Jorge Masvidal has called out Nate Diaz for a re-run of their UFC 244 showdown, with the ‘baddest motherf***er’ title on the line.

In one of the most hyped fights of 2019, the welterweight pair locked horns in the main event of UFC 244 at the Madison Square Garden last November.

Masvidal scored a third-round technical knockout victory to extend his winning streak to three fights, following a pair of knockouts against Darren Till and Ben Askren.

With a heavy resume, the Miami, Florida native is likely to earn the next shot to fight Kamaru Usman for the welterweight championship.

But on Sunday, Masvidal stunned MMA fans after expressing his interest on a rematch with Diaz after the Stockton fighter declared he is the ‘P4P baddest motherf***er’ in the UFC.

“Let’s run it back #theressurection #andstill,” Masvidal told Diaz.

Diaz has gone 1-1 since returning to the Octagon last year and has said he is weighing up his options for his next UFC outing.

The ‘BMF’ rivals continued to trade shots as they agreed to meet in a rematch.

Earlier this month, UFC president Dana White hinted Masvidal could defend his ‘BMF’ belt in Fight Island this summer against Conor McGregor.

“We’re talking about a few different things. We have something else interesting for Masvidal that we were just talking about yesterday,” he told ESPN.

“We’ll see. We’ll see how this whole thing plays out. To start speculating down the road now is too soon. Let’s get by these three fights in Florida and then we’ll figure out what’s next. We’re talking about different possibilities with those guys.”

“The Usman fight is the fight that makes sense. It’s the fight that needs to happen if Masvidal wants a title shot. But, yeah, there’s another interesting fight out there for him right now.”

When asked about the ‘BMF’ fight with McGregor, White said: “Very good point. That’s a possibility too.”
