Israel Adesanya took aim at Jon Jones after the light heavyweight champion was arrested for aggravated DWI (driving while intoxicated) and three other charges.
On Thursday morning, the pound-for-pound-king made headlines for the wrong reason as he was arrested by the authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico for DWI, negligent use of firearms, possession of an container, and no proof of vehicle insurance.
Jones has yet to release a statement about the arrest while UFC officials said they have been in contact with the light heavyweight champion’s camp to gather information.
Meanwhile, Adesanya, who is the biggest enemy of Jones at the moment, did not waste the chance to attack the controversial fighter while he is down.
The Kiwi-Nigerian posted a series of memes on Twitter after the news of Jones’ arrest broke out.
