Does it sound like The Rock is going back to wrestling?
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s career in Hollywood has been at its peak in the past few years. Despite this, the former wrestler says he’s not yet closing his door for a WWE comeback.
In an interview with WWE’s Cathy Kelley on the red carpet for his film Skyscraper, John said he “can’t wait to get back into a WWE ring.”
The Rock also shared how his live wrestling appearances differ from what he does in movies.

“There’s nothing like it. There’s nothing like (being) inside the WWE ring because there’s great live crowd acumen, like great connective tissue that is second to none and that was, and will always be the best part of my job when it comes to wrestling, whether I’m actually wrestling a match or just giving a promo. That connection with the audience, there’s nothing like it.”
The Rock last entered the WWE ring in 2013, which culminated in his defeat to Cena at WrestleMania 29. Johnson just turned 46 this year but his stardom in Hollywood can still go higher than now.
In a report by Forbes‘ Natalie Robehmed, the big star earned $65 million between June 2016-17, making him the second-highest-paid actor after he topped the list in the previous scoring period.
With this height in his acting career, people are still wondering whether the Rock is really setting his foot back to wrestling.
Here is his complete interview during the Skyscraper red carpet premiere:
However, there is no official statement as to whether Johnson will really fight back in WWE. So, we’ll never know. What we know now is, he’s great in both worlds.
