Mixed martial arts fans are hoping the Ultimate Fighting Champioship will book Conor McGregor against Jorge Masvidal after his stellar performance at UFC 246.
The former two-division champion announced his return with an emphatic win over Donald Cerrone in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Wrapping up the show early, McGregor finished the MMA veteran just 40 seconds into the opening round with vicious shoulder strikes, head kick, and ground pound.
It was McGregor first MMA win at 170 pounds in three years and it is likely he will take his next two fights in the same weight class.
“I like this weight division, it’s good going up and down. I’m in shape. I’m not there yet. There’s work to do to get where I was,” he said.
But if fans were to ask, they think Masvidal vs McGregor is the next fight to make, with the ‘baddest motherf***er’ title on the line.
‘Gamebred’ was in attendance at the UFC 246 fight card and the Irish star has slammed him for his ‘robe’ stunt.
The BMF titlist has stated many times that he wants to share the cage with McGregor in an attempt to secure a ‘red panty night.’
