The Ultimate Fighting Championship has released a hair-raising video promo for the upcoming welterweight fight between Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone.
The Nevada-based promotion is looking to start its 2020 calendar on a high note as it booked its biggest draw for its first pay-per-view festivities.
‘The Notorious’ from Ireland holds the top three highest PPV buys in the history, with his lightweight title clash against Nurmagomedov topping all records.
The two MMA fan-favourites will tussle in the main event of UFC 246 on January 18, 2020 at the T-mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
This will be the first time McGregor will appear in the Octagon since his fourth-round submission to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in October 2018.
Last Saturday, the UFC set the hype train in motion as it dropped a brilliant promo for the highly anticipated UFC 246 main event clash starring the former two-weight champion and the MMA veteran.

Cerrone is coming off back-to-back losses at 155 pounds as he suffered a technical knockout loss at the hands of Tony Ferguson last June before getting knocked out by Justin Gaethje in September.
His last outing in the welterweight division was in November 2018 where he submitted Mike Perry at UFC Denver.
Currently, he holds the record for the most number of wins, finishes, and post-fight bonuses in the UFC history.
“This will be my 51st MMA fight and I plan to add new numbers to all these list come January 18,” Cerrone said.
Meanwhile, McGregor is looking to score his first MMA win in more than three years as he seeks to get back on track for title contention.
According to Dana White, a win for McGregor will set him up to a rematch with Nurmagomedov if the Russian also emerges victorious in his next title-defence.
“See you in 2020 with bullseye vision,” he told Cerrone.
