With Conor McGregor expected to make a comeback later this year, the controversial fighter has begun his training with an intense workout in Central Park in New York on Monday.
The Notorious is currently in New York City living his best life after he avoided prison by pleading guilty to disorderly conduct last week in Brooklyn. McGregor hinted in an interview that he is very close to agreeing on a fight against the reigning UFC lightweight champion. He has also said that this gigantic showdown could be staged in Las Vegas.
While spending time in New York, the Notorious avoided the gym and instead hit Central Park for an intense workout as a part of his preparations for his impending return. He was seen working out with his training partners Dillon Danis and Cian Cowley.
Despite no final agreement yet between both camps, McGregor is training seriously hard as if the deal to fight Khabib is already sealed. In the video below, McGregor was seen doing squats in Central Park, Manhattan. He has caught the attention of passers-by as he did the workout in an unorthodox manner.
Conor used his training partner Cian Cowley as he performed multiple squats with the man on his back, much to the delight of the crowd.

Multiple reports said that the tentative date for the Khabib-Conor fight is on October 6. If this will push through, it means that McGregor is just two months away from his UFC return. This is why it is critical for him to get back on his usual fighting form as early as possible.
