WATCH: Footage Of Andy Ruiz Jr’s Training Has Fans Trolling Anthony Joshua

Andy Ruiz Jr. displays his speed and power on his latest training video and fans took their time to make fun of his rival, Anthony Joshua.

In what boxing fans considered as the biggest upset in the sport to date, the Mexican boxer defeated Joshua in their New York clash last June to capture the heavyweight titles.

‘The Destroyer’ floored Joshua twice in the third round and scored another pair of knockdowns in the seventh before the referee called the stoppage.

It was AJ’s first ever defeat in 23 outings while Ruiz Jr. became the first Mexican to win the heavyweight belts.

The heavyweight rivals are scheduled for their rematch on December 7  in Saudi Arabia.

Looking to pull off another stunner, Ruiz Jr. is seriously preparing for a titanic clash as he plans to send the Briton to retirement.

In a latest video posted on his Instagram account, the Mexican champ nearly knocked out his trainer with a solid left hook.

Watch it below:

‘Better Chin Than Joshua’

To everyone’s surprise, Ruiz’s trainer just brushed off the punch and fans could not help but compared his chin to AJ’s.

One user wrote, “My boy got a chin on him better than Anthony Joshwhoa!!!!”

“He can take a hit unlike Joshua.”

Another fan said, “You boy has a chin! Joshua would have gone down.”

“That’s what your going to do to Anthony Joshua again next month,” a fan predicted.

“AJ is getting this but twice as hard #oshitson #AndStill”

Meanwhile, another user gave props to all boxers, saying “Isn’t it crazy to see a regular guy barely touched with a hook and get dazed, and then watch these titans in the ring taking blow after blow to the head and the body. It really gives you a deeper appreciation for these boxers and what they go through.”

Killer Instinct

As for Joshua’s preparation, he has developed a killer mindset ahead of his rematch with the Mexican as he believes this fight would be a tough mental game.

“Mindset’s calm, mindset’s cool. Killer mindset, that’s what it’s about,” AJ said.

“Ice cold, stay in the moment, stay disciplined, just killer.”

“I belong here, I deserve to be here. This ain’t new to me.”

“Everything we do is only for greatness. That’s just how I wanna approach my training camps moving forwards.”

“Boxing’s a sticky and a tricky game mentally. Physically is one thing, but there’s highs and lows with this.

“Do I wanna do it? Am I good enough? Am I getting the opportunities that I deserve?

“So many obstacles, but you’ve just tell yourself that you belong here and you belong at the top level.”

“When you keep on telling yourself that, you’ll soon find yourself in positions that are only for the greats.”
