WATCH: Two Police Officers Attempt To Cuff MMA Fighter Brian Ortega

Every day police officers have to deal with members of the public. The vast majority of these confrontations end without the need for physical force but on occasion, things turn violent.

Most of the people that find themselves on the wrong side of the law have little to no training when it comes to fighting or self-defense so these guys decided to see what would happen if police officers had to take down someone with actual pro-level jiu-jitsu skills.

Enter professional MMA fighter Brian Ortega, who volunteered to put himself to the test against two officers in an arrest situation…

Ortega is right up for it and tells the camera beforehand “I’m gonna be the bad guy and I’m gonna have this little knife, so I’m gonna surprise em….I’m gonna just bumrush em and we’ll see what happens.”

The dude is no joke when it comes to mixed martial arts; as well as MMA, Ortega is also a gi and no-gi grappling competitor. He has fought regularly in the Respect in The Cage MMA association where he currently holds the featherweight belt.

Ortega is also a member of the Black Belt Surfing team and trains out of Black House MMA Gym. He made his UFC debut back in 2014 and has in incredible MMA record of 11-0 (1 NC).

In his latest appearance at UFC 199 on June 4, 2016, Ortega overcame Clay Guida to win by KO in the third round of an incredibly close fight. Ortega took the first round, Guida came back and won the second and was ahead in the third until Ortega rallied and won via a flying knee with just 20 seconds to go.

Find out if his MMA training is enough to overcome two cops trying to get him in handcuffs!
