Ronda Rousey made a name for herself on the back of a string of insanely quick knockouts.
But the UFC bantamweight champion was dethroned last weekend, making Holly Holm just the second woman to hold the title.
Before Rousey was even born though, another fighter was making headlines for quick KO’s. The original knockout king himself, Iron Mike Tyson.
Back in 1981, Mike Tyson made a meal of his opponent, Joe Cortez, brutally knocking him out in just 9 seconds to win gold – his fastest knockout.
The following year, he beat his own record at the 1982 Junior Olympics, knocking out his opponent in 8 seconds to also win the gold.
