A Fan Make Fake Credentials To Sneak Backstage And Walk Out With Conor McGregor
Some folks are incredibly skilled in the art of bullsh*t. Zac Alsop is a guy who obviously went to Harvard to get his degree in bullsh*t because the video you’re about to see is a thing of genius. Ever dreamed of walking out onto the field with your favourite sports team, hanging out backstage with the athletes you’ve so often watched on TV and wanted to chat with, or thought about what it would be like to accompany the world’s most famous combat sports star as they head into a press conference before one of the most historic fights of all time kicks off? This guy dreamed big and made that dream a reality.
On Friday the prolific Youtube star and sports fan decided he would head into the final press conference of UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor’s world tour alongside veteran boxer Floyd Mayweather, touted as the greatest defensive boxer of our time. The stage was set for London, and Alsop quickly got to work in Photoshop, knocking together a fake media and fake promoter pass based on images he’d seen on Instagram of the passes.
He rocked up to Wembley Arena with nothing but two fake press passes he’d quickly laminated, a fake wristband and quickly stood behind a tall fellow who looked important. Soon he’d breezed by the security guards and was into the inner sanctum of the fighting world’s elite. And when we say inner sanctum, we mean it. He walks past Dana White multiple times during his visit, and follow Floyd Mayweather’s crew in an attempt to not be found out.
Eventually, this complete legend finds his way onto the main floor, hangs out with a couple of Irish fans who have made the journey to London to support their countryman, and then he somehow managed to find his way into Conor McGregor’s entourage.
He gets a few quick shots, and then as McGregor’s walk out music,“Foggy Dew” by Sinead O’Connor and the Chieftains, starts to play he follows the Irish mixed martial arts champion out into Wembley Arena.
Alsop goes so far as to go and see McGregor after the press conference at a media junket, standing only inches away from the champion before he went to ask his question: “Would you rather fight 20 duck sized Floyd Mayweather’s, or one Floyd Mayweather sized duck?”
As for the answer, you’ll have to check out the video below to find out what McGregor said in response. Check out the video below and let us know what you think!
