Cris Cyborg Knocks Her Opponent Out Clean Cold In First Round

UFC Fight Pass

Saturday night’s Invicta 15 event took place at The Hangar at OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif, headlined by Cris “Cyborg” Justino taking on challenger Daria Ibragimova for the featherweight title.

Cyborg further emphasised that she is the biggest female fighter outside of the UFC, putting on a devastating performance and ending the fight with a stunning first round KO.

Daria Ibragimova (9-2), never really looked like winning the fight, but she did manage to hold some control in the early parts of the fight. From the opening bell, she held onto Cyborg’s leg, forcing her to awkwardly stand on one foot for the majority of the fight.

But even on one leg, Cyborg showed her class, laying a number of punches and elbows to Ibragimova.

Although keeping Cyborg off her balance, Daria looked more focused on minimising her opponent’s ability to strike, rather than launching an attack of her own.

Once released from the leg hold, Cyborg showed why she is one of the most feared women on the planet.

She charged at Ibragimova multiple times with extremely aggressive attacks.

With less than 10 seconds on the clock, Cyborg landed the perfect blow and followed it up with a few more punches, ensuring her opponent was out cold.

She’s now won 5 of her last 6 fights in the first round, further accentuating her domination of the featherweight division.
