[WATCH] Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers MMA Debut Ends in First Round

Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers made his professional MMA debut at BAMMA 29: McDermott vs Wolf this weekend.

Reality TV personality Chalmers took on fellow debutant Greg Jenkins in Birmingham on Saturday night in a match that had many non-MMA fans tuning in to see how he would get on.

Speaking in the lead up to the fight, Chalmers said that he was in it to win it: “If I didn’t think I would win I wouldn’t get in there.

“You could get injured crossing the road. The chances are you’re going to get injured – it’s a fight. He wants to kill me. I want to kill him.”

That statement rang true at the pre-fight weigh-ins when the pair got into a shoving match and had to be separated by security guards.

After both men weighed in, they posed for the traditional staredown and went forehead to forehead – each trying to psyche the other out before the handbags started to fly. There had been tension between the two camps in the lead up to the event and this was just the logical conclusion of that.

But for anyone that thought Chalmers was just doing this all for the drama and exposure, he had a message:

“I’m putting my heart and soul into this camp. I plan to go out there and leave it all on the line” he said. “My opponent is just a stepping stone that I will stamp on and continue my journey onwards.”

Making my entrance, you can't miss the rest of the cast 😂

This morning, live on Craziest Sports Fights and Unilad, the fight between Aaron Chalmers and Greg Jenkins was all over within the first round.

The impressive Chalmers, making his MMA debut looked calm and composed before and during the commencement of the fight. He seemed like a natural in there, putting together some classy combinations with his hands, and also proving to be the dominant fighter on the ground as he earned victory via Kimura submission.

Aaron Chalmers had his entourage of Geordie Shore cast mates ringside with him, including the ladies men Gary and Scotty T, an MTV film crew was also seen documenting this event.
